Accounts receivable, from workflow to deployment.
A patient-account application for Armonía y Figura, with payments, receipts, and a Linux deployment I maintain.

The problem
The clinic needed an operational system to organize patient accounts, procedures, charges, and payments. Staff also needed controlled access and receipts that reflected the clinic’s workflow.
My contribution
I deployed and maintain the Next.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL application in Docker. My work includes database migrations, backups, container health checks, production troubleshooting, and secure access through Cloudflare Tunnel.
Requirements & implementation
The application supports multiple procedures per patient, charges, payments, fixed or percentage discounts, and receipt generation. Administrator, subadministrator, and user roles organize access to the workflow.
Engineering decisions
Docker Compose defines the application services; PostgreSQL stores the operational data; Prisma handles application data access and schema migrations. Remote Linux administration keeps maintenance possible without a desktop session on the server.
The challenge
Workflow changes extended beyond a form: multiple procedures, discount handling, validation, and receipt formatting all had to fit the same patient-account process while the deployment remained maintainable.
Result
The system is deployed for clinic operations. The work covers the application’s operating environment as well as its day-to-day maintenance, from database changes to service recovery.
